Translating the power of silence into a hospitality room experience by returning to the essence, striving for the perfect proportion and combination of harmony.

As a room concept, Still rooms welcome guests exploring new ways of holistic well being. A space to fully disconnect and recharge in harmony with nature and architecture. Every room privileges a space for contemplation. As an individual or guided by a local teacher.

The spatial circulation has been conceived in order to create a monolithical labyrinth, where only shadow and light guide the steps of the guest not only to earthen but also to travel inward in order to find inner peace.

A honest dialogue between space and void, integrating a sensorial dimension through patina and texture, avoiding distraction or unnecessary ornament. The only ornament is the stillness of the space.

This work is part of our manifesto about the architecture of silence, a book about combinations of material, colour and patina, in order to inspire hospitality brands to propose the power of stillness in their guest experience.
